Swedish royal prince Sigvard Bernadotte was perhaps Georg Jensen’s very first design star. His work displays an appreciation of craftsmanship combined with modern innovation and he was credited with starting the house’s transition from Art Nouveau into a more functionalist, Scandinavian sensibility. His timeless pieces have become the inspiration for the Bernadotte collection of tableware.
