GEORG JENSEN – BREAKAGE WARRANTY
At Georg Jensen, we want our customers to enjoy using our products. We hope you enjoy the functionality and beautiful shapes of our unique porcelain products every day.
In the event the porcelain is broken, Georg Jensen will offer to replace the product free of charge for up to 24 months from the date of purchase.
If the product has been discontinued from production or is no longer sold by the store where the product was purchased, a similar - but not identical - product will be delivered within the same price range. This is a replacement service and money cannot be refunded.
The warranty is void in the event of intentional breakage or breakage resulting from gross negligence. Georg Jensen may terminate the warranty at any time and without notice. Purchases made before the termination of the scheme will, however, still be covered by the breakage warranty for 24 months from the date of purchase.
The breakage warranty is only offered for grade 1 products and only for purchases made by private individuals in United Kingdom. To use the warranty, contact the store where the product was purchased, e.g. one of Georg Jensen's authorised distributors, one of Georg Jensen's own stores or Georg Jensen's webshop.
You must bring the damaged product and the original receipt with you to a physical store. When contacting the Georg Jensen webshop, the original receipt and picture of the damaged product must be attached in an e-mail. So always remember to keep your receipt for the purchase.
The breakage warranty can only be used once per product. Equally, you may only replace the number of products stated on the original receipt. If 4 plates were purchased, up to 4 plates may be replaced.
Georg Jensen's breakage warranty does not affect your rights under consumer law.
