2023 Candleholder, Mouse
The series of 2023 candleholders for the Christmas tree feature elements from the winter forest, which inspired Sanne Lund Traberg when designing the yearly Christmas Collectibles. Plated in palladium, this piece in zinc alloy features a sleeping mouse, and is designed to match the collection's other tree candleholders, which include elements from the winter forest.
Danish designer Sanne Lund Traberg graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before embarking on a career path that brought her to Danish companies like Lego and Georg Jensen. At Georg Jensen she was a design manager, and involved in designing a range of successful product line extensions.
As a designer Sanne Lund Traberg adds a contemporary and abstract expression to everyday objects while injecting a touch of historic references in the process. Her universe is graphical and sophisticated, and deeply rooted in Scandinavian design traditions.
