Delicately crafted from a single strand of 18kt gold, these subtly sculptural earrings were designed by Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe - the first female silversmith to open her own workshop in Sweden. Her Forget-Me-Knot collection dates back to 1971, and is characterised by its elegant twists and curves.
Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe, known as Torun, was a pioneering Swedish silversmith born on December 4, 1927, in Malmö, Sweden. She is celebrated as the world's first globally recognized female silversmith and a trailblazer in modern jewellery design. Torun’s journey into silversmithing began at an early age, influenced by her artistic mother and architect father. She pursued formal training at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, where she honed her craft and developed her unique style.

Her creations, such as the iconic Vivianna bangle watch for Georg Jensen, remain timeless symbols of her visionary artistry. Torun’s legacy endures through her reissued collections, which continue to celebrate her groundbreaking spirit and enduring impact on the world of jewellery design. She passed away on July 3, 2004, leaving behind a rich heritage that continues to influence contemporary jewellery makers.
