Superbly carved in honey-coloured oak, this unique acorn-shaped bonbonniere with lid is as beautiful to touch as it is to look at. Equally at home on a side board containing sweet candies as it is full of trinkets on a dressing table, the box was originally designed by Henning Koppel in the 1960s as a gift for his friend, renowned upholsterer Ivan Schlecter. Now available to the rest of us, the bonbonniere makes a thoughtful and stylish present.
Henning Koppel was without doubt a pioneer in Scandinavian modernist design. His desire to combine beauty with practicality is apparent in his many pieces for Georg Jensen and his work continues to inspire and delight to this day.
The bonbonniere is made from oak.
