DAISY Commemorative Brooch
This special-edition Daisy brooch commemorates the outstanding 52-year reign of HM Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. Crafted in sterling silver and plated in 18kt gold, the brooch features the engraved date of the abdication of HM Queen Margrethe II: 14 January 2024. Its design originates from a daisy-shaped brooch worn by HM Queen Ingrid during her wedding to HM King Frederik IX. After the birth of their daughter Margrethe, later known as HM Queen Margrethe II, many Danish jewellers crafted daisy-shaped designs as gifts, as Margrethe was nicknamed Daisy. This very motif served as the inspiration for Georg Jensen's enduring and iconic Daisy jewellery collection.
