CELEBRATION

From the 1st of October 2020 until the 1st of December 2020, Georg Jensen invited all talented designers in Denmark to enter a competition to create Georg Jensen’s next jewellery icon. The jewellery design should pay tribute to Her Majesty and this unique celebratory event. The winning jewellery design will be launched in Georg Jensen stores in conjunction with the jubilee celebrations in 2022. Furthermore, a special edition of the jewellery design will be presented to Her Majesty on the occasion of her Golden Jubilee.

Georg Jensen’s mission is to create timeless design with equal focus on functionality and beauty. One of the cornerstones of the company’s values is the tradition of discovering and collaborating with design talent; a concept that has existed for nearly 120 years. This competition continues this tradition, when the next generation of Danish designers are invited to come with their design ideas for Georg Jensen’s next jewellery icon.
