Put A Ring On It: The Georg Jensen Guide to Rings
Rings have a very special place in our hearts. Often given as tokens of love or signs of commitment, there are rings for engagements, weddings, anniversaries or even just promises. The choice is huge so here are some guidelines.
Stacking many on one finger is a stylish and popular way to show your personality as is wearing rings on many fingers or even thumbs. Mix together different styles - classic with contemporary, simple bands with diamonds or other gemstones, such as sapphires, topaz, rock crystal, organic shapes with geometric. Yellow, white and rose gold can look vibrant when worn together and can even be mixed with sterling silver.
Some occasions have strong traditions when it comes to rings. Simple gold bands are generally used for weddings whereas diamonds - especially solitaires - are favoured for engagements. But don’t feel restricted. Platinum or white gold rings can be alternatives for a wedding and if you want to stand out from the crowd, then say ‘Yes!’ with a sapphire ring.
