Masterpiece Jardinière no. 1505 handmade in sterling silver craftmanship and design by Georg Jensen

Jardinière no. 1505

Designed by the hand of Georg Jensen in 1915, Jardinière 1505 was never put into production and remained a sketch until now, when the hauntingly beautiful design was rediscovered in Georg Jensen’s historic archives. From top to bottom, the piece reveals magnificent decorative details like grapes, wild flowers and leaves hand-carved and sculpted into the design.

Henning Koppel designed 1041 sterling silver dish from Georg Jensen

A masterpiece in the making

More than a half-century after its design, an original Henning Koppel silver treasure finally comes to life. In 1954, the legendary Danish modernist, Henning Koppel (1918-1981), designed the spectacular piece 1041 for Georg Jensen: an undulating, ternary form that showcased his tell-tale organic curves and captured his sculptural vision of the contemporary.
