The Collector Magnifier Pendant

A distinctive piece in the collection, this pendant is shaped as a continuous, fluid strand of 18kt gold that extends into a slender loop, with a glass lens at its centre that functions as a magnifier. Suspended from a black cord, the piece was designed in 1999 by Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe, a close collaborator of the house and the first female silversmith to gain global recognition in her field. The magnifier pendant is part of The Collector: a series of reissued designs from the Georg Jensen Copenhagen archives. Each piece in the collection was carefully selected from works by female artist-makers from the second half of the 20th century, reflecting the openness to artistic expression and craftsmanship on which Georg Jensen was founded.
