The Bernadotte cake knife brings a timeless Georg Jensen aesthetic to the cake table. The rifled lines were inspired by the Functionalist movement of the 1930s and the organic shape of the blade is a reference to early works by Georg Jensen himself.
Swedish Prince Sigvard Bernadotte is the designer behind his namesake collection, and the very first cutlery products were launched back in 1938. Bernadotte was heavily inspired by functionalism, and his work for Georg Jensen was characterized by a timeless appeal expertly combined with practicality.
