2021 Christmas Mobile, Shooting Star

Beautifully capturing the optimism and excitement of a shooting star as it crosses a winter night sky, this charming palladium plated mobile brings a sense of movement into the home. One of Georg Jensen’s Christmas Collectibles, it will for sure become part of a cherished collection, brought out every year as part of the annual celebrations.

Inspired by the crisp winter nights and the stars in the sky, designer Sanne Lund Traberg creates each shape individually by hand cutting paper before remaking in metal. The results have a clarity and graphic beauty that references classic Scandinavian modernist design.

The mobile is expertly crafted in palladium plated brass in Georg Jensen’s own Danish workshop. It comes with both a traditional red and a seasonal blue ribbon.
