Taking its cue from the iconic silver tray designed by Verner Panton in 1988, the collection in stainless steel
and colored glass celebrates the designer’s norm-defying approach to design, his passion for unconventional
materials and appreciation for vibrant hues.

The new colored glass trays present a bold twist on an iconic design.

The new colored glass edition of the Panton Tray is fully representative of Panton’s relentless exploration of
different shapes, materials and colors.

The piece, originally designed in sterling silver, is attentively hand-crafted from a thick layer of glass
and coated in a vivid colors palette that references the designer’s passion for vibrant hues.

FROM SILVER TO STEEL

The stainless-steel edition of the 1988 silver icon features all the elements that make
the design so unique.

Verner Panton started the design process of his now-iconic tray with a single sheet of aluminium
foil that was crumpled up and then smoothed out again to envision the final design.

The piece, crafted in both silver and steel, embodies the designer’s unique way of working
with materials and original re-interpretation of traditional everyday objects.
