2020 Christmas Mobile, Ice Flower

Unpacking the decorations and dressing the tree is one of the most loved parts of any Christmas season, and, for many, the enjoyment of collecting new pieces adds to the fun. Georg Jensen’s highly collectible ornaments this year includes this stunning palladium-plated mobile that captures the transient beauty of an ice flower. The cut-out designs echo the house’s Art Nouveau heritage whilst also referencing the wonders of the natural world.

Danish designer Sanne Lund Traberg was given the task of creating Georg Jensen’s 2020 Christmas Collectibles and she turned to her own garden and the striking photographs of Karl Blossfeldt for inspiration. The results show her true understanding of the magic of Christmas, infused with a contemporary reworking of traditional imagery.

Meticulously crafted in palladium-plated brass, the mobile comes with both classic red and seasonal green ribbons to choose from.
