The scent of quartz is a blend of pepper and white jasmine creating a mineral, crystalline scent with a salty note that lingers in the air.

This candle is part of Georg Jensen's home scent collection, which translates the House’s founding materials – silver, steel and quartz – into olfactory experiences. Each candle, defined by its own signature notes, is named after the Danish word for the material that inspired it. The candle’s distinctive form is hand-poured for 11 hours using a mould from Georg Jensen’s Copenhagen silversmithy.

Total burn time: approx. 150 hours.

General Use
• Place candles on a heat-resistant, non-porous surface to protect from dripping or staining.
• Keep the wax pool free from debris (e.g. trimmed wick pieces, matches) to maintain a clean burn.
• Keep away from drafts to prevent uneven burning or dripping.
• Allow space between candles – too close and they may affect each other’s shape.

Burning Times
• 100g & 280g: No specific minimum or maximum burn time required.
• 1500g: Burn for 2–3 hours on first use to help the candle burn evenly and avoid tunnelling.

Wick Care
• Always trim the wick to about 10 mm before lighting.
• Ensure the wick remains slightly curved for a steady flame.
• If the wick develops a small build-up of unburnt residue, extinguish the candle, trim the tip carefully (do not cut the wick too short), and re-light. This prevents debris from falling into the wax pool, which can cause dripping or collapse.

Extinguishing
• Use a candle snuffer to put out the flame cleanly and without smoke.
• Do not burn the candle all the way down – always leave enough wax at the base to keep the surface safe from heat damage.
