A beautiful combination of traditional and contemporary Scandinavian design, this 18 karat gold plated heart decoration is engraved with a stylised depiction of a shooting star - an eternal symbol of optimism. Hung in the tree or perhaps in a window frame, the heart’s shiny surface reflects the light adding another dimension to the Christmas interior decor.
With all the skill of a true craftsman, Danish born designer Sanne Lund Traberg painstakingly creates all her Christmas Collectible decorations with hand-cut paper before reworking the shape in metal. This gives them a clarity of line which is the essence of modern Scandinavian design.
The heart decoration is expertly crafted from 18 karat gold plated brass in one of Georg Jensen’s own workshops in Denmark. It comes with both a traditional red and a seasonal blue ribbon.
