2010 Shooting Stars Christmas Ball (24-carat gold)



Christmas is a time of traditions. Each year, we open our box of decorations and revisit festive memories, sharing holiday stories with the people closest to us.



Georg Jensen has a holiday tradition of its own. For the last 27 years, we have chosen one Christmas theme and used it as the inspiration for a series of limited edition ornaments and decorations.



This year’s motif is the heart, chosen by designer Lene Munthe for its message of good, openness and tolerance. Munthe also designed a number of star-themed pieces to complement the heart.



The Shooting Stars Christmas Ball is a classic symbol of hope and light that draws people together and imbues future memories with the glow that is such a part of the season.
