Handcrafted glass and mirror-polished stainless steel are a marriage of opposites, a pairing of materials designed to bring out the other’s best qualities. The delicate bulb-like shapes of GRACE tealights disperse soft candlelight while the assertive stainless steel base anchors the duo with coolly confident craftsmanship.



Danish-born designer John Sebastian strikes a masterful balance between strength and poetry. The way the flame plays off the materials adds a touch of magic to the piece that is best seen when it is use.

Designer: John Sebastian

Born in Denmark in 1975, John Sebastian enrolled at Copenhagen University College of Engineering in 1997 to study modern methods of production. In 2001 he set up his own studio. In the course of his career he has created several renowned designs, including works for such Danish design brands as Gubi, Royal Copenhagen and Holmegaard.
