DAISY–from Danish icon to global fashion movement
DAISY debuted in 1940, a bright piece of jewellery to celebrate the birth of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. The birth of the little princess lifted the spirits of a nation in the midst of a war and the Daisy was the perfect modern symbol of hope. Now, the DAISY collection has expanded to include new looks featuring delicate reversible silver flowers and fluid, versatile designs. White or black on one side and silver on the other, the Daisy sautoir blends a sleek monochromatic aesthetic with the lively flower that has been an international favourite for decades.
This piece features three double-sided daisies and twenty-two silver daisies. The unique enamelling technique remains the province of highly skilled and specialised goldsmiths.
