BO BONFILS–award winning Danish design
Launched in 1988, the BO BONFILS cutlery collection won the 1990 Danish Design Award, Denmark’s highest award for outstanding design.
The jury presenting the award chose the set because of “the timeless, stylistic harmony of the pieces and their sophisticated, almost imperceptibly refined interpretation of an old ideal.” The standout factor of the design comes from the clean and simple shape of the pieces rather than any surface adornment.
