CORKSCREW

CORKSCREW–the classic design

Nanna Ditzel originally designed this piece in 1957 in sterling silver. Its ergonomically shaped handle was so comfortable to grip that the same shape was actually used for the doorknob at Georg Jensen’s Østergade shop.

Ditzel’s CORKSCREW imbues a practical object with a touch of the sublime–perhaps that’s why it remains so well-loved a piece after all these years.

Refining and redefining functionalism, for every generation.

Design Year: 1957, Reissue: 2010

Measurements: L 127 mm x B 85 mm
