Celebrating over a century of Danish design and master craftsmanship, Murray Moss’ latest book for Rizzoli looks back on iconic Georg Jensen pieces that have defined the brand.

The new book presents a rich chronicle of the iconic designers and objects in Georg Jensen’s 110-year history.

The book features photographs that illuminate the hand-hammered surfaces and sensuous curves of some of our most collected products, as well as some lesser-known archival treasures. Murray Moss brings his knowledge of the design world to the pages of this fascinating tome. Georg Jensen was a pioneer in the idea of design collaboration, engaging Scandinavian legends like Arne Jacobsen, Henning Koppel, and Nanna Ditzel. Modern design superstars like Ilse Crawford, Aldo Bakker, and Jean Nouvel collaborate with the brand today. In that spirit, it’s only fitting to have a design legend like Murray Moss document the history of the brand.

He founded his design art company and retail gallery in 1994 in Soho which was famous for curating the very best products for the home and table that often blurred the lines between art and design.

In 2012 Moss launched Moss Bureau, an international curatorial and design consultancy to advise art and luxury brands.  Murray Moss is also an expert in collaboration engaging the world’s best designers and curating exhibitions on the cutting edge of the design world.
