2011 HERITAGE COLLECTION–in its 24th year, the collection revisits the master jeweller’s original works



The HERITAGE COLLECTION gives new life to classic designs.



Each year, Georg Jensen releases a collection based original archives from the 1900s. For 2011, the team chose a Georg Jensen-designed silver collection from the Art Nouveau period.



Georg Jensen gained a following among Copenhagen’s society ladies for his beautiful silver jewellery. He approached the material as a craftsman as well as an artist. This metal was his preferred medium and, today, he is considered a pioneer of sterling silver design.



The vintage style of the 2011 collection is brought to life with rose quartz and silver stones.
