The Concave watch, by Swiss designer Nicolas Barth Nussbaumer, challenges the traditional design of the modern watch by integrating the dial and the watch case into one form so that all visible elements of the watch are concave. Barth Nussbaumer explains "I wanted to create a watch where the case and the dial fused together giving the impression they are a single form. Even the hands of the watch are crafted to match the concave contours of the form. The watch dials are inspired by a human eye and the changing gradients of colour. This adds depth and sensuality to the concave form."
The stainless steel case measures 39 mm. The black dial is adorned with 60 diamonds with a total of 0.25 carats - one diamond for each minute.
The watch is fitted with a black calfskin strap with stainless steel pin buckle. Strap size Medium is mounted on the watch.
A stainless steel bracelet is available for additional purchase.
